This is the best Seafood Market in all of Tampa Bay. Four generations of my family have been loyal customers for many decades. The Owner, Moe is friendly, polite and extremely knowledgeble regarding all things LOCAL and abroad when it comes to fresh seafood and the vast ways to prepare them. They have everything you would want when it is available from the local fishermen. They will debone fillets for free. They will peal and devien Shrimp for free (Call ahead). The Sales Associates are really helpful! They accomodate you when ordering and portioning to your liking. They even have lunch items they can provide you from the kitchen. They have in numerous varieties of Shrimp species. and even the "Jumbo" ones everybody likes. I highly recommend that you travel to patronize their store, you will not regret it. Maybe you will enjoy their products so much that you will write your own Google Review.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ward’s Seafood was one of the highlights of our trip! This is such a unique experience because you get to walk through the fresh seafood market, hand-pick the exact fish you want, and they’ll cook it just the way you like it. The staff even takes the time to explain the different cooking options and makes recommendations, which made the whole experience even better. The selection is incredible with plenty of fresh daily catches, a huge salad bar, and lots of delicious sides to choose from. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and tasted absolutely amazing. You can truly tell the seafood is fresh. One thing that really impressed me was how clean the entire market is. Unlike many seafood markets, there wasn’t that strong old fish smell. Everything was spotless and very well maintained, which says a lot about how they run their business. The customer service was outstanding. The sweet lady at the cashier was incredibly kind and welcoming, and everyone else was just as friendly and helpful. Excellent service. Variety of fresh and prepared seafood. Smoked mullet, Pastrami Salmon and gazpacho were my choices today. Yummy!!!

This place is off the charts amazing. The selection of fresh seafood is incredible I went there to pick uo some steamed blue crab, but they were out. Was told to come around 2pm and i was late. I purchases some fresh IIpswich clams which are a rare commodity in this area...typically they are fried. My mother was ecstatic. We soaked them. Then steamed them. We saved the broth to dunk them in and melted butter for the second dunk. The flavor and freshness was better than any restaurant or market up north. I feel like I shouldn't mention this in my review because I don't want to go back and find that they are sold out 😅 The service by the gentleman behind the counter was top notch. They were professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I only had about a dozen questions about various items in the cooler. The were patient and took their time to answer each one. My fingers are crossed that I am able to get blue crab on my next visit. It was recommended that I call ahead.

Loved the selection of fresh seafood. Service was great. Very knowledgeable & helpful. Loved the set up. You can get all the stuff you need they put it in a tub behind the counter & give you a letter assigned to the tub. Then ring it up at the end.
